I'm covering how to buy hotels. Yes, you heard that right. How you can buy a hotel. We're also discussing franchise ownership, how to publish your own books and more. The best part is in season two, you can catch the podcast or watch the interview on YouTube. Over the break, I launched The Purpose of Money YouTube Channel. You guys are so amazing. I'm going to provide videos of as many of season two guests as possible. Plus, I just uploaded a video all about the deferred payroll taxes, which might be impacting some of your paychecks right now. Here's what you'll get on my YouTube channel. Inspirational stories from women on their financial journey or those crushing it in their businesses. Their stories will encourage you to take the leap into entrepreneurship, level up your finances and more. My channel also showcases what can happen when you get your finances in order and build real wealth.

My money tips show you how to build wealth, create extra income and start a business. I will share how I saved more, invested in alternative investments, and earned additional cash flow to invest in real estate. I'm also educating you about the power of life insurance, and how it can be used to build generational wealth for you, and many of your family and friends. I've used life insurance to do quite a few things in my own life, including purchase real estate, pay off debt and take on new business ventures. My YouTube channel is different because my guests and content are about regular women not heavily featured on other platforms. My guests share their stories as they are on their journey and explain their most recent challenges, accomplishments and the path to success.

We got our big break with Trinidad James in about 2012 when we did the multimillion dollar joint venture with Def Jam, and so once that happened with Trinidad James it went Trinidad James, Rich Homie Quan, YFN Lucci, Q Money. And and so I was working there and it was, you know, like a junior business manager to the business manager of the company. I was kind of overseeing the business manager and the financials of the company. And I transitioned out at a few years in I started my own business management company because I'm like, you know what these business managers like I can do what they're doing. You know, I'm always kind of picking through a lot of different things that I feel like they can do better or small errors that they're making. And I'm like, you're not as good as me. So I know I can do this. So, you know, the company was very supportive. In my decision to transition out and actually, my first client was an artist that was on the label. And so as I transitioned out, I was able to transition out with my first client that was my own.

Felicia Gopaul, a sister who is in the insurance industry just like me, helping families build wealth, through life insurance. As a millennial myself, I am determined to find financial independence and retire early for my family. And I've used life insurance as a strategy to help me build tax free income. Is that a strategy that you've been familiar with for quite some time or did you to learn about it recently?

So I had been in the industry for probably about 10 years when I, my husband moved me from California out to New Jersey, and I found a new firm to be affiliated with. And they were doing some stuff that I had never seen before. So I had always been trained or heard the whole concept of what you need to do is buy term and invest the difference. And so a lot of my clients that I have helped over the years had bought term insurance, but these guys were doing a lot with permanent life insurance, and they were doing some sophisticated stuff with with permanent insurance that I had absolutely never seen before. And they were using it and really smart and intelligent ways. And they were doing it for their million dollar clients. And I just got fascinated with oh, you could do that. Oh, you could do that. And that's how I got excited about life insurance.

Yes, you know, you could be doing the same thing and commercial just on a larger scale and we can make some more money. And it took her a minute. And then finally we came together, and then we form epic collected. And so now we're doing, you know, large scale projects, collectively, and we want to get more people who look like us into the commercial real estate space, specifically hotels, as well as multifamily as well.
