Day 1: Arrival in Ghana
Akwaaba! Welcome to Ghana! After clearing customs at Kotoka International Airport, a private vehicle will transfer you to Tang Palace Hotel (or comparable). Settle into your accommodations featuring complimentary WiFi, restaurant, bar, swimming pool, spa, and fitness center. Dinner is on your own today.
Day 2: Historic Accra
Start with complimentary breakfast before exploring Accra’s rich history. Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, Black Star Square, and W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Center. Enjoy lunch at Buka Restaurant (or comparable). Experience Ghana’s journey to independence through these powerful cultural landmarks before returning to your hotel.
Day 3: African Naming Ceremony
Immerse yourself in Asante culture with a traditional naming ceremony led by respected local elders. You’ll be honored with an Akan name that symbolizes your bond with the community and its proud heritage—a heartfelt connection to Ghana’s cherished traditions.
Day 4: Aburi Botanical Gardens or Real Estate Session
Explore Aburi Botanical Gardens, wandering through avenues of towering trees and vibrant flowers. Perfect for photos and relaxation. Day 5: Slave River, Cape Coast Slave Dungeons
